1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the website at yui.sk and its subdomains (the "Site"), purchasing a yStore license or add-on, or creating a Client Zone account, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or our services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and YUI s.r.o., a company incorporated under the laws of the Slovak Republic ("YUI s.r.o.", "we", "us", "our"). Where you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

 

2. Description of Services

YUI s.r.o. develops and licenses yStore, a native e-commerce plugin for the Craft CMS platform, together with optional add-on plugins (payment gateways, shipping integrations, marketing tools, and similar extensions). We also operate a documentation portal at craftdocs.yui.sk, a blog, and a Client Zone for managing licenses and support tickets.

Our services are intended for developers, agencies, and businesses who wish to build and operate online stores using Craft CMS. We do not provide end-consumer e-commerce services directly.

 

3. License to Use the Software

Scope of License

Upon purchasing a yStore or add-on license you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the software on the number of domains or environments specified in your license tier. The license is valid for the period stated at the time of purchase.

Permitted Uses

  • Install and operate yStore on Craft CMS for your own commercial or non-commercial store.
  • Modify template files and front-end assets for your project.
  • Engage a developer or agency to implement yStore on your behalf under your license.

Prohibited Uses

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or transfer the software or your license key to any third party.
  • Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary rights notices.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
  • Use a single license on more domains or environments than your license tier allows.
  • Use the software to build a competing product or service.

Agencies and Developers

If you are an agency or freelance developer building a store for a client, each live production site requires its own yStore license. Development and staging environments are included at no additional cost.

 

4. Account Registration and Security

Certain features — including license management, support tickets, and order history — require a Client Zone account. When you register you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at support@yui.sk if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We will not be liable for loss or damage resulting from your failure to keep your credentials secure.

 

5. Purchases, Payments, and Refunds

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in EUR and include applicable VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment is due at the time of purchase and is processed by our payment service providers (Stripe or PayPal/Braintree). We do not store your payment card details.

License Renewals

Licenses may be offered with optional annual renewal for continued access to updates and support. If you choose not to renew, you may continue to use the software version you have already received, but you will not receive further updates or support.

Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new yStore license purchases. If yStore does not meet your requirements, contact us at support@yui.sk within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. Refunds are not available for add-on plugins that have been installed and activated, or for renewal licenses.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the yStore software, documentation, trademarks, logos, and Site content are owned by YUI s.r.o. or its licensors. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership rights in the software or our intellectual property.

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or bug reports regarding our software, you grant YUI s.r.o. a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution.

 

7. Acceptable Use of the Site

When using the Site you agree not to:

  • Transmit any content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, or infringing on the rights of others.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any connected system.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to collect data from the Site without our written permission.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity, performance, or availability of the Site or its infrastructure.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

 

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites and services (such as Craft CMS, payment providers, or documentation tools). These links are provided for convenience only. YUI s.r.o. has no control over and accepts no responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or reliability of any third-party site or service.

Some add-on plugins integrate with third-party payment gateways and shipping carriers. Use of those integrations is subject to the terms and privacy policies of the respective third parties.

 

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and software are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every hosting environment.

Nothing in these Terms limits any warranty that cannot be excluded under applicable Slovak consumer protection law.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, YUI s.r.o. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising from your use of or inability to use the Site or software, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These limitations do not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under Slovak law.

 

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless YUI s.r.o. and its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or software, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

 

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. You and YUI s.r.o. agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Slovak Republic for the resolution of any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site or software.

If you are a consumer resident in another EU member state, you may also be entitled to rely on mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of residence.

 

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and, where appropriate, notify active customers by email. Your continued use of the Site or software after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
